James Hunt Fisheries

A traditional fishmongers selling fresh wetfish, shellfish, pates and fishcakes, the vast majority of which is supplied by local fishermen from Felixstowe ferry. To ensure the highest quality, they have a strong relationship with the local fishermen (including the boss getting out to sea himself when he can!) and aim to produce as much as possible independently.

Their own smoke house uses oak to create their famous smoked salmon, smoked prawns and mackerel, and our crabs are hand dressed in the shop. None of their products include any dyes or additional flavourings. They also serve cooked shellfish ready to eat, including their own hand-dressed crabs, perfect for lunch or a snack as you enjoy Suffolk’s coastal scenery.
