Hi! My name is Catherine and I’m from Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. Having grown up along this coastline I have a massive appreciation for the sea and the marine ecosystems it supports. I also strive to be sustainable in every way possible and the seafood I eat is certainly part of that! The sea provides us with a bounty like no other that should be enjoyed but also respected. I hope that my work as a coastal explorer will inspire others to seek out their own sustainable seafood stories throughout this island we call home! xx
